Agnes was a dragon, and the close friend and assistant of Tattypoo, the Good Witch of the North. She lived with Tattypoo in her hut in Gillikin Country, though she longed to live in a palace and to be waited upon by servants. Nevertheless, she was happy with Tattypoo.
One day, she gave the Good Witch the idea to look in the Witch's Window; this made Tattypoo remember her identity as Orin, Queen of the Ozure Isles, and Agnes was actually one of Orin's original handmaids.
