Origin[]
Alabam left the plains of Texas and comes to Broken Creek to become the new sheriff after his uncle, John Hyler, the elder sheriff was murdered by outlaw Mike Mantee. While Alabam was a talented as both a gunfighter and brawler, he preferred to ask questions first then shoot later. Sadly because of this attitude, his Aunt Hilda was also killed by Mantee when she tried to provoke him so that Alabam would shoot the man down. Albam avenges the death of his family members by gunning the outlaw down.
In his following adventure, Alabam began an investigation of a murder caused by a mountain lion called Bonecrusher. The lion is blamed for the death of Tom Farum. However after investigating Alabam discovers that Bull Benning framed the lion for Tom's death so he could get away with murder and then marry Tom's sister Fran who disapproved of their relationship. While trying to escape after Alabam discovers his criminal actions, Bull is killed by the real Bonecrusher. The mountain lion then tries to attack Fran next, but Alabam saves her life by gunning the cat down.
