Origin[]
Albert Alligator is one of the many anthropomorphic animals residing in the Okefenokee Swamp. Unlike many of the other residents, Albert is often conniving and scheming, frequently hatching get-rich-quick schemes or to improve his social standing in the swamp community. However, these schemes typically fail due to his ineptitude or the interference of others.
Albert possesses a sharp wit and is quick to come up with clever retorts or solutions, especially when it benefits him. He tends to prioritize his own interests above others and is willing to manipulate situations to his advantage. Despite his bluster and bravado, Albert is often shown to be quite cowardly when faced with danger or confrontation.
Despite starting out as an antagonist, Albert eventually becomes a loyal friend to his neighbors, particularly Pogo Possum despite their differences in temperament and outlook. Pogo often serves as a voice of reason to counter Albert's more impulsive tendencies.
