Origin[]
King Bolan, ruler of the Moon, is against the plans of Aldar, a great lunar scientist. Aldar proposes to turn Earth into a Sun so the Moon can be as lush as Earth. Aldar doesn't believe there's any life on Earth, believing nothing could survive in the moist environment. King Bolan has seen flashes of light he feels are indicative of life. Aldar thinks the flashes came from volcanic activity, although they were from atomic bomb tests.
King Bolan puts the plan to a democratic vote. The lunar inhabitants vote the plan down. This angers Aldar, who with his scientist co-conspirators, remove King Bolan and set Aldar in charge.
The people think this is a wise move on King Bolan's part, not knowing of the conspiracy behind it. Aldar uses his newfound power to build a spaceship. He arms it with the "M-Ray Sun Making Machine". With his dastardly crew, they fly into Space to turn Earth into a superheated mass. They are struck by an artificial satellite, killing Aldar and his crew. Earth is saved by happenstance.
