Alec "Shadow" Smart is Harold Teen's best friend and sidekick. Shadow is depicted as mischievous and streetwise little man who often got himself and Harold into various predicaments with his schemes and antics. Despite his flaws, Shadow is a fiercely loyal companion and was always there to support him, even in times of adolescent anxiety.
