Andres is given a mission by Earth Commandant Elmus to pilot a ship for Rod Rian of the Sky Police. The flight is to investigate a case of an attack and piracy of a transport vessel carrying ore from the Moon. The Sky Patrol ship is attacked, and the officers are knocked unconscious.
The Sky Police officers are taken captive by the Mephisian devil-men from the planet, Mephistos.
