Anthony Conrad was separated from his father, Dr. John Conrad, while on an Arctic expedition and fell through the ice. He blacks out and finds himself under the care of a doctor when he awakens. The doctor informs Anthony that he is in the king's castle and takes him to speak with the king. The king tells Anthony that he, too, was an Arctic explorer who fell through the ice and landed in the underground kingdom of Arctica, a land of dense forests, strange creatures, and medieval civilization. The old king taught the people how to make weapons and build houses, but he needs a successor and chooses Anthony. Anthony accepts because there is no way to return home. However, to become king, Anthony must prove himself by completing three tasks: Defeat a giant in wrestling, slay a fearsome dragon-like beast called a Tyros, and defeat the best archer in the kingdom in a duel. He passes all tests with flying colors and is then crowned King Anthony.
Powers and Abilities[]
He is a skilled wrestler, boxer, swordsman, and archer, but he does not possess any superhuman powers.
