Origin

"She soars through the skies in this Great War, the Athena of America." -1914 newspaper editorial refering to the then-unamed heroine.

On Earth-A, Athena was the first titans (i.e. superheroes) and emerged in 1912 shortly before The Great War (WWI).

Her true identity is not known to anyone, even herself; Her earliest memory is waking up in New York city in the early evening of May 25, 1912. Witnessing a ferry sinking, she instinctively dove in. A few minutes later, she lifted the ferry out of the waters and set it down upon dry ground. Confused, she flew away before anyone could speak with her. Athena and the other titans helped to end the war in 1917 and to indirectly prevent the rise of the Nazi party. She, along with the other titans, helped fight in the Second Great War and, unlike many of her comrades, survived. The origin of her powers is unknown.

Powers

Circa The Great War: Super-strength, flight, and invulnerability.

Present: Cosmic-level super-strength and invulnerability (Once moved a moon of Venus and survived being hurled into the sun), flight, apparent immunity to aging.
