Banana Boat is the loyal companion of American barnstormer Swoop Curtiss. While traveling in northern Maine, the two accidentally fly the wrong way and land in England, where they enlist in the R.A.F. to fight against the Germans.
Banana Boat supports Swoop in his repeated battles against the ruthless Nazi pilot Gorrit, who flies a black plane marked with a skull and crossbones and can release streams of flaming oil. Though Gorrit often escapes, Banana Boat remains a steadfast partner throughout their adventures.
