Origin

Public Domain Appearances
- Hit Comics #4-65
Notes
- Before Matt Murdock (aka Marvel's Daredevil) showed up in the '60s and passed his first decade, Betty Bates was the longest running lawyer in comics. Additionally, her 10-year-run still remains the longest run by a non-powered, non-supporting character!
- The character was ranked third in the Huffington Post's list of the 10 Most Bada** Comic Book Heroines.
