Origin
The original Black Arachnid spent his whole life training his son, Max, to continue the tradition. When he was killed battling a villain, Max assumed his father's legacy as the second Black Arachnid.
Other Information
While the Black Arachnid had no superhuman powers, he used a variety of gadgets in his adventures. He wore cartridge launchers on his hands. He could load them with micro-netting coated in high-tack adhesives which acted as his spiderweb, micro-grappling hooks used for swinging, climbing, or repelling, and toxin dipped darts that could paralyse an opponent temporarily. The palms of his hands and soles of his feet had micro-hooks (similar to the micro-grappling hooks) he used for clinging to objects. His belt held replacement cartridges for his cart launchers.
