Origin[]
Son of the District Attorney, Jim Hornsby puts on a costume and teams up with his younger brother Bob (aka: the "Cobra Kid") to fight crime.
Black Cobra intervenes to stop the criminal plans of the Professor and his massive assistant Hugo when they attempt to steal evidence for the Hell’s Gang. Although he is skilled enough to outfight Hugo, the Cobra is constrained by a strict timetable to deliver the evidence to court, preventing him from fully bringing the criminals to justice.
Powers and Abilities[]
He has no superpowers but is a skilled fighter.

- Captain Flight Comics #6, 8, 11
Notes[]
- He was later revived by Ajax Farrell with a different costume and secret identity.
- The story from Dynamic Comics #1 was also reprinted in Phantom Lady #4 with Black Cobra revised to Red Rocket in the reprint.
