After his father, the CEO of Holt Industries, was framed for murder by executives seeking to take over the company, The Black Death returned from South America to take deadly revenge on all of them. He was stopped by Chic Carter.
Having spent time with the native tribes in South America, Holt returned to the United States with deadly accurate mastery of the blow gun, which he used to shoot poison darts into his victims.
