Origin
Taho, a.k.a. the Black Fury, was a villainous female who used her trained black panthers to combat Rulah the jungle goddess after Rulah foiled her and her mate, Umar's plans to get local river gold by getting rid of the villagers using killer octopi. She controls her pets using the knowledge passed on from her cat cult ancestors who could control and speak to cats. Rulah defeated Black Fury after a volcanic eruption frightened Talo's panthers. The big cats then turned on their former master ending her reign of jungle terror.
