Major Anderson gifts Chief Lone Eagle with a new Winchester repeater rifle. Lone Eagle entrusts his young nephew Hopping Squirrel with its delivery. A group of hostile Blackfeet, lead by Bloody Tomahawk, intercept Hopping Squirrel and torture him to death concerning the rifle. Lone Eagle kills Bloody Tomahawk in battle later on.
