Boola is a savage two-headed giant from who speaks a Yiddish accent. He is a native to an island of monsters who was defeated and enslaved by Sinbad the Sailor, forced to reside on his island as a living trophy and personal stooge to his captor. Even after this abuse, the two-headed giant still obeys Sinbad because they are afraid of his might, although they will still attempt to attack him when he is not looking.
Despite being a formidable brute, Boola is an extremely polarized individual, with his two heads frequently quarreling with one another - particularly the right head's dislike of the left's appetite for fried fricassee. This literal butting of heads proves to be his undoing when Popeye the Sailor Man discovers that inflicting damage to one head can injure the other, leading to a double knockout with a single punch.
