Bos'n was a hungry purple octopus that was raised by retired sea captain Ezra Cummings as a pet that was regularly fed liver.
One night a group of robbers attempted an armed robbery on Ezra after he fed Bos'n. One robber named Mike held a knife to his throat demanding his cash, as Erza ran the robber threw his knife into his back. As Erza's laid dying on the floor he begged the robbers to feed Bos'n who was in the garage at the time. Once the sea captain died the two robbers made their way to the garage and were quickly devoured by Bos'n.
