Origin[]
The manager of the Broken Arms Hotel in the 1943 Looney Tunes short "Porky Pig's Feat" is a tall, surly, and imposing character who serves as the primary antagonist of the cartoon. He is tasked with maintaining order and ensuring guests pay their bills, which leads to a comedic clash with Porky Pig and Daffy Duck when they attempt to skip out on their unpaid room charges.
Stern, authoritarian, and unyielding. He is fiercely dedicated to his job and does not tolerate any nonsense from guests. His temper is quick to flare, especially when dealing with Daffy’s antics. His persistence and resourcefulness in catching them drive much of the cartoon’s humor and tension. While menacing, his humiliating defeats, exaggerated reactions, and over-the-top efforts to capture the duo lend him a humorous edge.
