Origin
Buster Brown, his sister Mary Jane, and his dog Tige were a wealthy city dwelling family at the turn of the century. Buster was a handsome young troublemaker who would pull pranks and would later be caught by his mother and spanked. He usually would state a moral at the end of the strip that would be completely unrelated to his actions.
