Origin[]

Cal Coyote eating Pepito's tomatoes in The Coyote Catcher.
Cal Coyote is a local mischievous coyote who often annoys Bucky and Pepito, often driven by his own hunger. He uses the excuse that he is "a victim of circumstance" to defend his vices, such as stealing tomatoes. His persistence, though, ultimately proves to be his undoing when Pepito outsmarts him with an explosive watermelon.
