- The first issue was published in 1949 and is considered to be a giveaway comic, with no pricing on the cover. The cover can be found on the internet and in the reprint. Author claims this issue was either never published or is extremely rare. Issue #2 was published in 1951.
- Hadacol was a notorious patent medicine -- much of it simply alcohol -- created by Louisiana State Senator Dudley J. LeBlanc. Investigated by federal and state authorities, the company collapsed in the early 1950s. This is a comic book created by the LeBlanc Corporation to promote the product----to children.
