Accompanied by Inki the native supply carrier, Porky Pig goes on safari for the rare pygmy ant of Central Africa which is valued at $150,000. After the ant is discovered, The chase is on, with all kinds of antics as Porky tries to capture the pygmy ant. The ant outwits Porky and his less-than-bright native bearer. Ultimately though, the ant saves them from an attacking lion, thereby earning a handsome trophy.

- The cartoon has not aired on American television since the 1990s due to African native stereotyping.
- Despite Porky Pig and Inki being heavily featured in "Porky's Ant", they themselves do not enter the public domain until 2031 and 2035 respectively due to their debut cartoons still being under copyright.
