History[]
Charles Foster Kane is the main protagonist of Citizen Kane. He is the sixth richest man on Earth and a renowned newspaper publisher. The plot of the film kicks off as he dies in his mansion, his last word being "Rosebud". A reporter researches to find out what this means, and uncovers his whole, very complex life by listening to people recount their experiences with Kane. In the end, it is revealed Rosebud was the name of his sled.
