Charlie Brown is a young boy who makes recurring appearances in Charles Schulz's comic strip Li'l Folks.
He is shown shaking Rover's paw in his first appearance and stating how glad he was to greet a fellow constituent.
In his second appearance, He claimed to a girl that he could whistle the entire score from 'Die Fledermaus'.
In his third appearance, he was shown walking toward two kids with one claiming how much they hated Charlie Brown. This gag would be recycled in the first Peanuts comic strip from October 2, 1950.
His fourth appearance shows him being buried in the sand box by another boy who claimed he had not seen Charlie Brown when asked about his whereabouts by a little girl.
