Clyde is a San Francisco saxophone player, who taught a woman named Flowers to dance. Clyde harbors an affection for Flowers, albeit one shared by "Blackjack", a notorious crime boss who is currently locked into a turf war. Flowers eventually marries "Blackjack", but Clyde ultimately wins over Flowers, and "Blackjack" sacrifices himself to protect her and Clyde

- Gang War is currently considered a lost film. It is best known for having opened with the first ever presentation of the animated short Steamboat Willie, the debut of Mickey Mouse.
