Danny Blaze was a big city firefighter who had a number of amazing adventures with his good friend and fellow firefighter, Whitey Grimes. They faced some unusual threats such as escaped lions and armed jewel thieves. Whitey was even shot, though Danny, demonstrated some fighting skill by disarming the attacker.
