This character is a horror host presented as an incarnation of Death, a man whose face is always in shadow. It wears a black hat with a broad brim, a black cloak, and gray gloves. He also smokes a cigarette in a holder. "I travel everywhere and see everything! I am inevitable to you...some shall see me sooner than others!" Death narrates the story of ill-fated race car driver, Hugh Lanson.

This version of Death closely resembles the Shadowman, a personification of death who was an ally and enemy of Mr. Mystic.
