Origin[]
Delbert the Dragon is a large red and orange-scaled dragon wearing a chef’s hat, known for being the co-spokesperson who cooks up cans of La Choy chow mein with his fiery breath. In some commercials he was teamed with Mert, who plays the deadpan straightman role to Delbert's loud and boisterous antics. In others, Delbert interacts with humans in an effort to advertise the product, causing collateral damage in his wake.
