Origin[]

Dr. Zorka is a brilliant but rogue scientist who possesses a deep-seated desire for power and domination. His character embodies the archetypal mad scientist trope, with his unbridled ambition driving him to conduct dangerous and unethical experiments.

Foreign spies, operating under the guise of a foreign language school, try to buy or mostly steal his creations. When Zorka's former partner, Dr. Fred Mallory, exposes him to Captain Bob West of the US Military Intelligence Department, Zorka moves his lab and, after his wife's death, vows eternal vengeance against anyone trying to use his creations and become a world dictator.

Despite his intellect and technological prowess, Dr. Zorka is not without flaws. His arrogance often leads to his downfall, as he underestimates the resourcefulness of his adversaries and becomes overconfident in his abilities. His assistant Monk, an escaped convict forced to work for Zorka, is cowardly, deceitful, and completely inept. Whether on purpose or by mistake, his involvement with Zorka's activities always undermines his master's intentions.

Ultimately, Zorka's hubris proves to be his undoing, as he is unable to outsmart the combined efforts of the heroes determined to stop him.

Skills and Abilities[]

Zorka's intelligence is undeniable, as evidenced by his groundbreaking inventions and scientific achievements, using his knowledge and cunning to evade capture. However, his brilliance is overshadowed by his lack of moral compass and his willingness to pursue his goals at any cost. He is willing to endanger innocent lives and wreak havoc in his quest for power.

Among his various weapons of warfare include a devisualizer belt that renders the wearer invisible, an eight-foot tall slave robot, robot spiders that can destroy life or paralyze it, and a deadly meteorite fragment from which he extracts an element that can induce suspended animation in an entire army. One of Zorka's most notable creations is his "death ray," a powerful weapon capable of disintegrating any object or person in its path.
