Origin[]
Dunkie is the former mascot of Dunkin' Donuts, who was first introduced in 1954. He a made from dough. The middle of "Dunkie's" body is a yellow tea cup with the Dunkin' Donuts logo that was introduced in 1953. "Dunkie" is holding a pan full of doughnuts. "Dunkie" is winking and has a chef hat on top of its head. Fred the Baker would later serve as the mascot years after Dunkie was retired.

Notes[]
- Dunkiue is still a registered trademark of Dunkin' Donuts.
- Dunkie never appeared in television commercials.
- Due to the relatively poor preservation of early Dunkie's marketing, it is unknown if Dunkie was ever copyrighted in the first place - all preserved print adverts featuring Dunkie have either no copyright notice or an invalid one such as this print commercial,no copyrights relating to 50s-era Dunkin' Donuts' were ever renewed, meaning that Dunkie is public domain regardless.
