Golden Age Origin
High school basketball coach Bert McQuade is put through a series of treatments by Dr. Stahl. These result in Bert gaining superpowers. Bert puts on a costume and, with brother Ricky as his sidekick Dynamic Boy, fights crime. Bert can fly, is strong enough to lift a car, and is invulnerable to bullets and acid.
Do NOT confuse this character with a Timely one-shot character of the same name, an artificial man who fought the Yellow Spot.
