Earth Commander Elmus of the Sky Police was saddened and angry to hear that the E-Ship 72 has been attacked and destroyed. Elmus' granddaughter was on the ship. Elmus assigns the investigation to Rod Rian and Pilotar Andres.
It is later revealed that Elmus' granddaughter, Karin, survived the attack and was taken prisoner to Mephistos.
