King Felis is the ruler of the Valley of Pussycats in Merryland. Although he is subservient to the Queen of Merryland, she does not visit often, and he is free to govern as he wishes.
The king is the largest of the cats in the valley. He is a Maltese with big, yellow eyes.
King Felis lives in house number 1. His cousin, Mrs. Tabby lives at number 16, and his uncle, Palladius, lives at number 9.
