The Fiery-Icer led an attack on a new U.S. Missile tracking station in the Caribbean, as it would "put a crimp in his plans" to capture a missile for his own use. This put him into conflict with Captain Atom, who was at the base during the attack. He was able to go toe to toe with the hero, but was still defeated in the end.

The Fiery Icer wore a suit that allowed him to project both fire and ice.
