Golden Age Origin

In 1940, Capt. Jacob Miles appears in the middle of a battle of superhumans, during WWII, from an explosion of temporal energy. He has strange futuristic weapons and clothing. He quickly learns who the heroes and villains are and joins the heroes. After the battle, they question who he is, and he tells them his story. They dub him Captain Omega, and consider him one of their own. He lives out the remainder of his days forward from this era, despite his many attempts to get home.

Modern Age Origin

In the present, Jacob Miles had joined the military right out of high school. He excelled and ranked quickly; achieving the rank of Captain. He soon caught the eye of several military generals and was selected for service in an elite group of soldiers, the Omega Squadron, that combats superhumans. He was given the code-name Polecat. During one particular incident, Omega Squadron encounters a group of powerful superhumans; including a time manipulator. This time manipulator uses his power to send Polecat back to 1940; and the other members of his team into other points in time, future and past.
