Marvo was a stage magician and detective who travelled the United States with his super-intelligent monkey, Tito, fighting criminals such as Lars Vilner using his powers of illusion. He may have possessed other abilities, but they may have just been illusions as well. He speaks cod-Italian-sounding magic words.
