Origin[]
The “Fire Dragons” are a pair of giant, fire-breathing reptiles that emerged from an eruption on volcanic island Uuang-Ni, part of a prophecy known by the native islanders.
Konga was saving a group of Pacific islanders from a storm before the eruption of Uuang-Ni caught his attention. He swam over to the island and the curious ape scaled the volcano, eventually encountering one of the dragons. The creature almost killed the terrified Konga before he slapped the fire monster in the face and left. Soon after, the second dragon emerged and began terrorizing the island, motivating Konga to come back and defeat the beasts. He engaged in a fierce battle with the first dragon, ending with the ape drowning the beast in the ocean. Konga then fought the second dragon in a less fatal fight, as it retreated back into the volcano.
