Flopsy, Mopsey, and Cottontail are a trio well-behaved little bunny sisters who try to stay out of trouble. They are the daughters of Mr. Rabbit and Mrs. Rabbit have an older bother, Peter Rabbit. They live with their mother and brother in a sandbank underneath the root of a Big Fir Tree. Their father passed away at the hands of Mr. McGregor and his wife, Mrs. McGregor. They typically wear pink coats.
