Living on Planetoid 380-b, Floyd is a "planetoid boid" pet of Jumpin' Jupiter. Floyd sings his "old classics" for Jupiter, which the latter enjoys. Floyd also plays the banjo for accompaniment. In one of his songs, Floyd indicates that he comes from Mars and Pluto.
