- One More Time (1931)
Notes[]
- Foxy has similarities to Mickey likely because Rudolf Ising and Hugh Harman formerly worked for Disney during the 1920s and helped developed the style associated with Disney.
- Foxy was subsequently replaced by a new character named Piggy, who only appeared in two shorts before getting scrapped as well.
- "Lady, Play Your Mandolin!" is the first Merrie Melodies cartoon.
- "Smile, Darn Ya, Smile!" reuses gags and story beats from the Oswald The Lucky Rabbit short "Trolley Troubles".
- All three of Foxy's shorts became public domain due to no copyright renewals on them being made in time.
- Foxy's unnamed female companion was retroactively given the name Roxy in the 1992 Tiny Toon Adventures episode "Two-Tone Town".
