Origin[]
Gnophkehs are a race of hairy, long-armed cannibals of the northern ice-sheets, inimical to the people of Lomar. Despite the almost identical name and same geographical range, they're actually distinct from the six-limbed arctic entity known as Gnoph-keh.
Since Lovecraft mentioned Gnoph-keh as a singular entity and always referred to the Gnophkehs as a species, it is possible that the relationship between the two could be that of a deity or guardian-entity and its protected race.
