Homer K. Beagle, also known as the Demon Detective, is a zany detective who picked up all his investigative knowledge from books. Leaving his job at a honey factory, he starts his own private detective agency. Despite his lack of real skill, Homer often succeeds in his cases through a mix of luck, improvisation, and quirky cleverness. His adventures include stories such as “The Case of the Careless Cousin” and “The Case of the Hairless Hound.”
