Origin[]
After an honorable discharge from the Foreign Legion, soldier of fortune Duke O'Dowd stumbles upon the lost city of Bayakura in Tibet and meets Wah Le, who gives him a hi-tech belt which Duke uses to fight crime back in the United States.
When he returns to the United States, he would be a Taxi driver while also being the Human Meteor.
Duke is assisted by shoeshine boy Toby, who knows of the Human Meteor's civilian identity.
Powers and Abilities[]
Duke has no super powers on his own, but the belt gives him super strength and super speed as well as stopping metal from harming men via a "contra-magnetic field." The field is vulnerable to wood, however. He is also able to fly using the belt.
