Huyler is the youngest son of the Candy Man and his wife. He lives in the Valley of Bonbons in Merryland and, like all the residents, is made of candy.
One day his nurse, Aunt Lowney, left him out in the sun where his left hand melted away. His father planned to repair it with some fingers gathered from the marshmallow fields.
