Origin[]
Early in his career, when the Hangman was rounding up several criminals, the Jackal was able to hide from the authorities by disguising himself as the Hangman. During this period, the "Jackal/Hangman" went on a brutal killing spree by hanging innocent people in hopes of framing, and sending the real Hangman to prison.
He was caught, but years later, he escaped prison and took refuge in an old monastery. This time he disguised himself in Monks clothing, and continued his nightly ritual of thievery and brutal murders. He went after Bob Dickering, and somehow suspected that he must be the Hangman. This proved to be the final confrontation between the two, as the Jackal died during their chase through the woods.
Powers and Abilities[]
To thwart the police, he often wore a disguise, and posed as a respected member of society, such as, monks and even as the Hangman.
