Historical Background[]
Jesse James and his brother Frank were famous outlaws, who were a part of several gangs, including their own "James Gang." They are often romanticized as "Robin Hoods" of the old west. James was highly successful in armed robbery. He was involved with both bank and train robberies, as well as a number of killings.
