Jetman had his own 30-issue series running from 1946 to 1951 however, he never had a story of his own... He was a mere "cover-only" character (and a lot of the times, he didn't even get that) on a re-print comic book.
At one point, he appeared to have a female sidekick.
Jetman and his female sidekick appear to be Rocket Man and Rocketgirl, characters who appeared in Scoop Comics and Punch Comics, titles produced by Harry "A" Chesler's studio. The image used for this entry was adapted from a Rocketman splash page.

By use of a jetpack, Jetman could fly.
