Origin[]

Jughead is a friend of Archie Andrews who resides in the town of Riverdale where he attends Riverdale High. Unlike Archie, Jughead is usually not interested in girls, and usually advises Archie to stay away from them. Regardless, Archie mostly avoids that advice and Jughead is sometimes caught up in Archie's antics.

He once tutored Lottie Little, the girlfriend of Moose McGee, who showed interest in Jughead which resulted in her jealous boyfriend giving Jughead a black eye.
