Origin[]
Jumbo is a mammoth from the prehistoric age. In his youth, Scratch rescued Jumbo, then a baby, from a deep snow drift; the caveman had pulled the mammoth out upon noticing his trunk. Jumbo was later frozen, like many other mammoths, during the Ice Age.
In the present day, Jumbo was thawed out from a meteor melting the ice that had surrounded him. As a result, he was able to save Scratch from a fall. Colonel Bleep managed to send him back to his time with Bleep's time machine. Before doing so, Jumbo was brought to Zero Zero Island to show Squeak that mammoths were real.
