Origin
The Kid was working on his grandfather's merchant marine ship. However, it was sunk by a German U-boat's torpedo. The Kid has a near death experience and meets the angelic Mr. Keeper. Keeper tells him that Kid has another 75 years till he is supposed to die and will be sent back to Earth. Kid was accompanied by Mr. Keeper back to Earth who apologized for his untimely death by giving Kid exceptional super powers.
Kid now had the ability to summon anyone from "mythology or history" with the word "Eternity."The Kid also was able to call upon comic book characters with his powers including his fellow Quality comics' characters. For example in Hit Comics #26, Blackhawk was summoned by Kid Eternity from Military Comics, to combat Dr. Pain. In addition, by uttering the same word he could channel Mr. Keeper's power to become invisible - and become visible again with another utterance of the same magic word. Finally, the Kid had the power of limited gliding ghost-like flight.
Now known as Kid Eternity, he used his new found powers to fight both the Nazis and criminals. His enemies include Master Man, Dr. Pain, Her Highness, Lightning Man, Mavara, Mr. Midas, Mr. Puny, Silk, and the Brute.
